This Man's Not Free | |
JM | Jimmy Mac |
1.They brought him here from Good Hope to tend their fields of corn. They brought him here from Good Hope to live a life of scorn. They brought him in a slave ship, chains on his feet and hands. They brought him in a slave ship. O' what a wretched man. 2.It took a war torn nation to free him from the whip. It took a war torn nation to stop that dreadful ship. So many years of trying but still this man's not free. So many years of trying to be a man that's free. |
